Mentor – Angela Lintner

Angela Lintner comes from the Southwest suburbs of Chicago, where she began dancing at the age of three. She was trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Lyrical and began her competitive career at the age of seven. At the age of nine she trained at the Faubourg Ballet Academy while competing with Perseverance Dance Company.

Upon relocating to Colorado Springs at the age of twelve she began studying at Synergy Dance Academy as one of their youngest competitive students. During her four years with Synergy, Angela won several scholarships including one with New York City Dance Alliance. Other scholarships took her to Los Angeles where she studied at the Edge Performing Arts Center on a regular basis, and to summer dance programs at the University of Arizona. Arriving in Sarasota at the age of fifteen she began teaching and choreographing at the age of sixteen. Adding Hip Hop and Contemporary to her abilities, a year ago Angela decided to relocate to Los Angeles, CA where she is pursuing her own professional career in the dance industry. Currently Angela is studying at the Edge Preforming Arts Center, participating in classes directed by professionals such as; Malaya, Havic, Sheryl Murakami and many others. Angela is ready to share her passion and experience with her YCP students!
